Handmade in our East London workshop from a Beechwood dowel sourced in the UK from sustainable wood, using metal springs made in Sheffield. The frame features sturdy steel ribs with a stylish antique brass runner & notch, open cap & ferrule. Fitted with an elegant European made scorched maple handle, with a silver coloured sliding tipcup. The handle has a protective water based laquer finish.
The umbrella canopy is sewn using a BCI cotton fabric woven in Scotland, finished with a natural modern wax weather resistant proofing. The strap is hand sewn avoiding the use of a polyester grossgrain ribbon, and finished using a natural button made in England from a Corozo nut. We offer a choice of 3 colours - Black, Cypress Green and Royal Blue - making this a strong and elegant sustainable umbrella you can feel proud to own.
